Warehouse Store Person - All Rounder

Do you want to be part of busy, fast paced, leading food Distribution Company, in New Zealand? Bidfood has a great opportunity for a permanent position in our warehouse team based at our distribution centre in Islington, Christchurch.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse All-Rounder to join our day shift team. This is a hands-on role offering variety across all areas of our warehouse operation.
Days of Work:
- Monday to Friday and every second Saturday
- Hours to be confirmed
About the Role
As a Warehouse All-Rounder, you will work across all three warehouse environments:
- Freezer
- Chiller
- Dry Store
This role requires a team player who is comfortable working in varying temperatures and can support multiple functions within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenishing stock locations to ensure product availability
- Assisting with stock movement throughout the warehouse
- Working across freezer, chiller, and dry store areas
- Supporting the Inwards Goods team with receipting and put-away of stock
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Current forklift licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in freezer, chiller, and dry store environments
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good level of physical fitness
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
