Sizer & Spectrum Operator

We are looking for a dedicated person to join our state-of-the-art facility in Hastings. Channel your computer expertise to operate sizer and grading software machines, optimising fruit sorting for export.

You would be trained to operate both our sizer machines, Spectrum and blemish grading software to deliver their best product through their packhouse for export and quality standards. You would also work closely with the leadership team to maximise Packhouse quality and volume.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
· Operating sizer machines and/or Spectrum software to ensure optimal fruit quality and size
· Efficiently manage fruit processing from wet room to palletising
· Oversee production throughput based on staff numbers, fruit quality and market packing processes
· Assisting to guid and direct staff on standard operating procedures
· Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and food safety standards
Skills and Experience
· Experience with Spectrum Software / Sizer operation or similar technical software (preferred but not essential)
· Passion for computer or relevant computer-based role experience.
· Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
· Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong verbal communication skills, team player and innovative thinker
