Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS NZ) is a trusted not-for-profit provider of home and community services across Aotearoa New Zealand. We are looking for a proactive and organised Service Coordinator to join our supportive Operations team at our Head Office in Auckland.

About the Role:

As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing rosters for clients and support workers across the country. This is a busy, varied role where your organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and people-first approach will shine.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing rosters (short, medium, and long term, including leave management).
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, support workers, and internal teams.
  • Ensuring rosters meet client needs while aligning with sector legislation.
  • Providing non-clinical communication and support for workers and clients.
  • Managing administrative and operational tasks as needed.

About You

We’re looking for someone with healthcare or homecare experience and strong communication and organisational skills.

You’ll bring:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and confident decision-making.
  • Experience in scheduling/rostering within the homecare or community sector (preferred).
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in building positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
  • Strong computer literacy and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Self-management skills to organise and prioritise your workload efficiently.
