Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As our Senior Finance Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping the financial heartbeat of Active+ running smoothly. Working across both accounts receivable and accounts payable, you'll take ownership of complex financial processes that support the delivery of exceptional healthcare services across New Zealand. From processing ACC and third-party invoicing and remittances, resolving complex payment queries to ensuring provider payments are accurately calculated and processed in line with agreed schedules, you'll be the trusted expert who brings precision, efficiency, and confidence to every aspect of the finance function. You'll work across systems including Gensolve and Xero, maintaining the integrity of financial information while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and our provider network.
Beyond day-to-day processing, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact by driving continuous improvement within our Finance team. You’ll support month-end activities including account reconciliations, journal entries, and basic revenue calculations thereby maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. In addition to this you will assist with audit preparation. You will prepare financial reports & tools that enhance efficiency to support management. With a keen eye for identifying risks and opportunities you'll help optimise systems and processes while providing valuable support across the wider team, including stepping into leadership responsibilities when the Finance Practice Manager is unavailable. If you're someone who thrives on solving problems, enjoys improving the way things work, and wants to be part of an organisation dedicated to helping New Zealanders live their best lives, this is the role for you. This is a full-time permanent position based in our National Support Office in the Auckland CBD.
