Sales Manager - China and Eastern Markets
We are seeking an International Sales Manager, handling our China and Eastern Markets. This is an exciting opportunity to secure business in growing and highly competitive environment . You will be responsible for developing our sales strategies by building, managing and maintaining relationships, promoting our products, generating new business opportunities, as well as strengthening existing business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading travel trade and business events activity across New Zealand, China and Eastern markets.
- Managing relationships with trade partners including ITOs, wholesalers, OTAs, airlines, and Tourism New Zealand.
- Supporting the delivery of Chinese digital marketing.
- Hosting familiarisation visits and site inspections.
- Representing Southern Discoveries at trade shows, roadshows, and sales calls.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in tourism trade, sales and marketing, and the business events sector.
- Language capability to manage the China market.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally and work flexible hours.
