Exciting Opportunity: Sales Development Manager (Life & Health) 

Location: an FMG South Island office 

Role Overview: Join our Life & Health channel to protect farmers, families, and businesses - the backbone of New Zealand’s economy. As a Sales Development Manager, you’ll provide one-on-one technical and sales coaching/mentoring to our Life & Health Advisers. If you’re passionate about nurturing talent, driving success, and making a difference, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure good client risk conversations 
  • Achieve new business growth 
  • Maintain client retention and service levels 
  • Provide high-level technical support 
  • Support good client outcomes 
  • Adhere to legislative standards and FMG best practices 

About You: 

  • Leadership experience in Personal and Business Life Insurance markets – this is essential!  
  • Commitment to delivering good client experiences and outcomes 
  • Proven success in building and executing growth strategies 
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external parties 
  • Hands on approach with excellent communication skills
