As we continue to grow and evolve our product offering, we’re looking for a commercially minded and collaborative Product Manager to join the team.

This is a great opportunity to work across a broad product range, influence future product direction, and play a key role in bringing new products to market.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Product Manager, this permanent full-time role is responsible for managing a portfolio of Rinnai products, including pricing, product lifecycle management, and new product development support.

You’ll work closely with teams across New Zealand, Australia, and Japan to help ensure our product range remains competitive, relevant, and aligned to customer and market needs.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Technical, Quality, and R&D teams to successfully manage and grow the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Rinnai products, accessories, and spare parts
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned to business strategy
  • Develop pricing, forecasts, and product data to support planning and inventory management
  • Analyse market, customer, and product trends to identify opportunities and insights
  • Support and coordinate successful new product launches
  • Work closely with Rinnai Australia and Rinnai Japan on product development initiatives
  • Build strong working relationships across all areas of the business
  • Identify opportunities to improve or expand the product range

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ Product Management experience within a technical or engineering-based environment, ideally in the HVAC or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong commercial thinking and understanding of engineering, sales, and marketing concepts
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple products and projects at once
  • Process-driven and committed to following work through to completion
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, including the ability to handle robust conversations
  • Resilient, adaptable, collaborative, and able to work well with a wide range of people
  • Positive, practical, and solutions-focused attitude
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
