Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role 

The People Operations and Analytics Specialist plays an important role in strengthening Wintec’s people and culture practices through expert remuneration advice, workforce analytics, and data-driven insights. Working closely with the Executive Director and wider team, this role helps ensure our remuneration frameworks, reporting and analytics practices are consistent, fair and aligned to organisational priorities. 

The appointing salary for this role will be between $91,015 - $113,768 gross per annum (total remuneration, excluding Kiwisaver), dependent on skills and experience. 

This role is based at our City Campus, reporting to the Executive Director – People, Capability and Wellbeing and key responsibilities will include:  

  • Providing specialist expertise in remuneration frameworks, job evaluation processes and pay practices. 
  • Developing workforce analytics, dashboards and reports that support leadership decision-making and strategic planning. 
  • Leading the implementation of improved people data, analytics and pay gap reporting practices. 
  • Governance level reporting on people analytics and remuneration for the Tāngata Komiti

To be successful in this role you will have: 

You are a collaborative and analytical people professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights. With strong expertise in remuneration and workforce analytics, you are confident partnering with leaders to support fair, informed and strategic people decisions.  You will bring:  

  • Experience in remuneration and people analytics, including job evaluation, remuneration frameworks and workforce reporting. 
  • Strong capability in HR systems, data management and analytics reporting.  
  • Experience developing or contributing to people and culture frameworks, policies or standards. 
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support leaders. 
  • A commitment to equity, inclusion and the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in the workplace.
