Our busy People & Culture team support 1,700 employees across multiple sites & working remotely across the North Island. 

Mō te tūranga | About the role 

This role plays a key role in supporting the People & Culture Business Partnering team in an advisory capacity. The main focus will be supporting our Home Healthcare team which includes over 1,200 Support Workers who work remotely. As well as providing solid employment relations advice to our branches, you will advice our network on all P&C policies and processes. This role also includes leading the coordination of our administrative processes of key employee life cycle processes. This includes parental leave, bereavement leave, long service leave, guaranteed hours and multiple other life cycle processes.

Mōu ake | About you

  • An ability to communicate confidently to a wide variety of people from all levels of the organisation.
  • A desire to support those who are facing challenging circumstances in their lives.
  • Minimum of 3 years HR Generalist experience within an Advisor or Coordinator position.
  • HR or similar Tertiary Qualification preferred.
  • Strong Administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of NZ employment legislation and experience of its application in an HR or General management environment.
  • A warm, welcoming and professional manner with the ability to engage easily with a wide range of people.
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Visionwest’s ongoing Kaupapa Māori journey.
