Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Are you passionate about shaping the future of learning in healthcare? As our National Education Lead - Learning Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of clinical learning across Southern Cross Healthcare. You’ll lead the design and implementation of high-impact education programmes that not only meet regulatory requirements but elevate clinical capability and quality of care across our network. You will guide and support Hospital Educators nationally, fostering a culture of professional excellence, continuous improvement, and high-performance learning. From embedding best practice learning and assessment pathways, to establishing robust evaluation frameworks and learning metrics, you will ensure our workforce is equipped, competent, and confident to deliver exceptional patient care.

You will also lead the strategic direction and optimisation of our Learning Management System, ensuring it delivers an outstanding user experience and supports scalable, future-focused learning solutions. Acting as the key link between clinical teams, digital, and People & Culture, you will drive innovation in learning technologies, maintain high-quality and relevant content, and ensure strong governance, reporting, and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to make a national impact - enhancing capability, strengthening clinical excellence, and helping shape the future of healthcare learning at Southern Cross Healthcare. This is a full-time permanent position preferably based in the Auckland CBD.
