Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role 

The International Student Administrator is a busy and diverse role, which allows you to be involved in the journey of our international āgonga (learners) from enquiry through to graduation. Your primary responsibilities will involve the processing of enrolments across all programmes from enquiry/application through until graduation and everything in between including visas, withdrawals, transfers, qualification completions, and transcripts.  You will have strong relationships with external stakeholders including Immigration New Zealand, Education New Zealand and other agents/agencies. 

This rewarding role will see you joining a vibrant team who are committed to serving our ākonga and finding solutions leading to an increase in our international cohorts.

Ko wai koe | About you

You will be customer-centric and have an eye for detail. You will have the ability to communicate well, build and maintain effective professional relationships and have excellent computer skills especially with databases. 

Our preferred candidate is someone who can remain focused on outcomes, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines. An understanding of diverse cultures and being comfortable dealing in a friendly, professional and timely manner with ākonga from overseas. 

While previous experience in the tertiary education environment is beneficial, we encourage anyone with a strong administration and customer service background to apply.
