Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Are you an experienced MSK Physiotherapist ready to take the next step into clinical leadership? As our ICP Clinical Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise to influence the quality of rehabilitation services, develop and support other clinicians, and help deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across the Active+ Integrated Care Pathway for Musculoskeletal (ICPMSK) service. You’ll provide clinical leadership to our Navigation Team through coaching, mentoring and clinical oversight, while acting as a trusted clinical expert for complex cases, pathway decisions and escalations.
This is a varied and influential role where you’ll combine clinical leadership with hands-on pathway navigation and client advocacy. You’ll review referrals, undertake clinical triage and risk assessment, support interdisciplinary teams with rehabilitation planning, and help clients navigate their recovery journey. You’ll work closely with ACC, providers, GPs, specialists and other stakeholders to ensure services are client-centred, culturally safe, evidence-informed and aligned with contractual and clinical requirements.
You’ll also play an important role in shaping the ongoing success of the ICPMSK service. From strengthening clinical governance and developing the capability of our Navigation Team and provider network, to monitoring clinical outcomes, service performance and client feedback, you’ll identify opportunities to continuously improve how we deliver care. If you’re passionate about MSK rehabilitation, developing others and influencing better outcomes at a wider service level, this is an exciting opportunity to make your mark. This is a full-time 12month fixed term position based in our Active+ National Support Office (NSO) in the Auckland CBD.
