Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Change Manager
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Lead meaningful change. Empower safer, healthier workplaces. As our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Change Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the successful adoption of strategic health and safety initiatives across Southern Cross Healthcare. From safety-critical frameworks like Critical Control Management (CCM) to wider process transformations, you’ll ensure our change programmes are aligned to organisational goals, embedded into the business, and delivering measurable improvements in safety, wellbeing, and engagement.
You’ll partner closely with leaders, worker representatives, and operational teams to design and deliver tailored change, communication, and training strategies. By championing worker participation, building trust, and addressing resistance points, you’ll ensure that every voice is heard and that change truly sticks. Through clear communication, engaging training, and site-specific implementation support, you’ll build capability, confidence, and readiness across the organisation.
Success in this role means continuously measuring progress, reporting on adoption, and using lessons learned to refine future initiatives. You’ll foster a culture of adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement—making sure our people not only embrace change but thrive through it.
This is a part time (20 hours a week) 6 months fixed term role to help with a project.
