 The role:

Mobility is changing fast, and Toyota is at the forefront of leading that change!

Based at either our Head Office in Palmerston North or our office in Auckland, we're looking for a highly organised and commercially curious Senior Mobility Programme Coordinator to help drive some of Toyota New Zealand's most exciting and strategically important initiatives. Working at the centre of our Mobility transformation programme, you'll bring people, projects, and priorities together to turn innovative ideas into real-world outcomes.

This isn't your typical project coordination role.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Toyota New Zealand, Toyota Financial Services, and external partners, helping to shape the future of how New Zealanders access and experience mobility. From supporting new business models and strategic initiatives to keeping programmes moving forward, you'll play a key role in ensuring great ideas become successful outcomes.

If you enjoy working across multiple projects, thrive in fast-moving environments, and love bringing clarity and momentum to complex initiatives, we'd love to hear from you.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving coordination across a range of Mobility programme workstreams and initiatives
  • Keeping projects on track by proactively managing actions, milestones and risks
  • Supporting strategic decision-making through research, analysis, reporting, and business insights
  • Preparing high-quality governance and executive reporting materials
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, senior leaders, Toyota Financial Services, and external partners
  • Facilitating communication and change activities that support successful programme delivery
  • Identifying opportunities, removing roadblocks, and helping teams achieve great outcomes

About You:

You're someone who loves making things happen.

Naturally organised and proactive, you're skilled at bringing structure to complexity and keeping multiple moving parts aligned. You're equally comfortable coordinating work behind the scenes as you are engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic conversations.

You enjoy solving problems, finding smarter ways of working, and collaborating with others to achieve shared goals. Most importantly, you're excited by innovation, transformation, and the opportunity to help shape what's next.

You will also have:

  • Previous experience coordinating projects, programmes, or business initiatives at a corporate level
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience working with governance processes, reporting, and project controls
  • Confidence working with senior leaders and managing sensitive information
  • Experience in automotive, mobility, financial services, or digital environments (advantageous - not essential)

At Toyota New Zealand we value our team and are proud to offer:

  • Excellent growth and development opportunities
  • Fantastic job security
  • Southern Cross Health insurance
  • 4%+ KiwiSaver contribution
  • Discretionary staff bonuses
  • Staff discounts across our range of products
  • A subsidised cafĂ© onsite and free parking
  • Opportunity to work in a global organisation where people are the heart of everything we do
  • Work in a team with an EXCEPTIONAL culture
