Would you like to be actively involved in supporting young people to identify patterns in their life that they want to shift and support them in achieving their potential?
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Youth Practitioner to join the team and be part of a group of mental health and addiction providers collaborating to deliver a service in the Counties Manukau area.
The Stand Up! Community service aims to develop cohesive and responsive services that meet the wellbeing needs of young people. This will result in young people having increased access and choice of services to meet their primary mental health and addiction (MH&A) need by offering flexible pathways with an ‘any door being the right door’ approach. We will operate seamlessly as a cohesive suite of service to support young people in a range of settings.
Young people and their whānau will be at the centre of decision making and equity will be at the forefront of all service development. The suite of services involved in this approach will ensure there is a stepped approach to intensity of service provision depending on the complexity of the young person’s needs, from supportive to more intensive interventions.
