About the Role

WineWorks Marlborough is seeking experienced Bottling Line Team Members to join our high-performing night shift team. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with automated production equipment, this is your chance to advance your career in the heart of New Zealand’s wine industry.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm to 5:00am.
We offer a competitive pay range of $26–$28 per hour (depending on experience), plus:

  • A $4.00 per hour night shift allowance
  • Free meals during shift
  • An additional meal allowance

As a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth production runs by:

  • Operating and troubleshooting automated bottling line equipment (including fillers, cappers, and closures)
  • Performing changeovers and basic equipment maintenance
  • Maintaining high product quality standards for both WineWorks and our clients
  • Following all HACCP, safety, and chemical handling protocols
  • Accurately documenting production data and reporting any issues

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience operating automated manufacturing or packaging machinery
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • A strong mechanical mindset with the ability to adjust and maintain equipment during operation
  • Familiarity with HACCP, QA processes, and chemical handling (advantageous but not essential)
