As a Kaiārahi, you will work alongside whānau to co-design and implement personalised plans that reflect and address their educational, social, health, cultural, and economic aspirations, guiding them toward self-determination while supporting them to navigate and integrate social and health services, strengthen outcomes, and move toward greater independence and life satisfaction.

You will:

  • Work alongside whānau to develop tailored, whānau-centred plans to achieve their goals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to empower whānau through their journey.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse network of service providers, tutors, employers, whānau, and iwi.
  • Assess whānau needs regularly and adapt plans with thoughtful evaluations and reviews.
  • Utilise your regional knowledge of South Waikato service providers to maximise support for whānau.

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and relationship building.

  • Strong ability to assess needs and develop aspirational, achievable plans with whānau.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with a wide range of whānau.
  • Valid full Class 1 driver’s licence and willingness to undergo Police vetting.

What We Offer:

  • Opportunities for ongoing development and training tailored to your growth.
  • Guaranteed Christmas holidays each year due to a company close-down.
  • Monday to Friday business hours supporting a healthy work-life balance.
  • A vibrant, dynamic team environment with a friendly culture.
  • Organisation-wide fun events celebrating staff contributions throughout the year.
  • Health insurance coverage for all eligible employees.
