Are you an experienced and compassionate caregiver looking for flexible/casual work in Tauranga and surrounding areas? As the first independently owned private homecare agency established in New Zealand, we continue to work closely with our clients and their families to provide exceptional support in each person's private home. We have a history of providing excellent care to our clients and excellent support to our valued Caregivers.
We are seeing a growing number of clients who are wanting additional support at this time. As an Agency, we offer a variety of care to our clients ranging from companionship with home-help support right through to palliative care. While the hours are not guaranteed but assignment based, you get to choose the hours and days that work for you and your family.
We have a particular need for cover over the weekends at this time. A variety of shifts within the weekend, mornings, afternoons and evenings. Each shift is a minimum of 3 hours, often longer, depending on the clients needs. We would love to hear from you if you have had experience with the following:
- Companionship and home-help, which may include light house work
- Meal preparation
- Personal Cares; to include showering, dressing, grooming
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
Ideal Candidate must have:
- Recent care giving/healthcare preferred
- A clean full NZ Driver's Licence and your own car
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work legally in New Zealand (You must have already obtained a working visa)
- A clear background and criminal check
