Weekend Machine Operator

Our Remanufacturing Department in Kennington is seeking a hardworking individual to join our weekend shift shift team operating the cutlines. This is working with automated machinery in the value add processing of timber, and is best suited to those with mechanical aptitude, a passion for learning and an eye for detail.
The hours of work will be 5:30am - 6:00pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The hourly rates for this team are are paid at a premium rate to acknowledgement of the unconventional work pattern.
We are seeking an individual who is reliable, adaptable, physically fit, and brings a positive attitude to work each day. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed. Our priority is to build a dependable, purpose-driven team that supports one another. Experienced team members are transitioning to this new shift and are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and helping new team members thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine operation with limited manual handling
- Active involvement in production lines
- Setting up and running machinery in the cutline department
- Performing quality control checks
- Maintaining equipment and workspace
