Warehouse Team Leader

Part-time permanent – 30 hours per week

Presbyterian Support Otago’s Retail shop provide financial support needed to deliver our social services and fulfil our organisations mission. Of equal importance to their fundraising role, our shops are community spaces that promote inclusion, fairness and justice. Our retail shops are welcoming to all members of our community and value the contribution they make to our business as customers, donors and volunteers.

About the Role

You will be managing the day-to-day operations of the Presbyterian Support Otago Retail warehouse including the management of receiving donations and warehouse storage space. You will leading our wonderful team of employees and volunteers based in the warehouse and may provide cover to the Retail Manager in their absence. 

You will be working 30 hours per week. This will predominately be worked between Monday – Friday 9:30am-4pm and may include work on Saturdays to fit the organisations needs. 

About You

We are seeking someone who can meet the physical demands of the role including lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying of stock. You should be knowledgeable on fashion, labels and be able to identify stock that will meet current fashion trends. You should have experience in the retail and/or storage sector and have a understanding of retail storage, particularly around maximizing use of space and effective processes.
