Warehouse Supervisor – Bidfood Queenstown

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy food distribution operation in Queenstown. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of warehouse operations, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all customer orders are accurately picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched on time, meeting service standards and delivery deadlines
• Oversee inwards goods processes to ensure all stock is received accurately and processed promptly
• Maintain correct stock rotation, storage, labelling, and warehouse replenishment practices
• Support the training, coaching and performance management of the warehouse team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role 
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control and health & safety practices
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) and walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Forklift qualifications are desirable, but training and support provided if required.

This is a full-time role, the roster will be Monday- Friday or Tuesday - Saturday with a 6am start. Minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed and maximum weekly hours are 60. The hourly rate is between $32.00 and $34.00 per hour depending on experience.
