Warehouse Storeperson - Day Shift
We are looking for experienced storepersons to join our hard-working day shift team. Based in Mangere, day shift hours are Monday to Friday (7am to 3.30pm) & rostered Saturdays. Some flexibility around working hours is required as we respond to changing business needs, ie: additional hours as required.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferable however full training and appropriate PPE will be provided. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a history of reliability as this is key to the success of our business.
This position requires individuals to be physically fit as there is frequent heavy lifting of up to 25kg. A hoist and/or reach licence would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Of course we will provide all the right training and any protective gear that is required.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent written and spoken English and numerical skills
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Experience working a food distribution or similar warehouse environment
- No Criminal convictions
- Must provide 2 contactable work referees
- NZ permanent residency or citizenship required
We offer:
- Stable employment and hours - minimum 40 hours per week
- Staff buying privileges after 3 months of service
