Warehouse Storeperson
Bidfood Nelson is looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Storeperson to join our busy warehouse team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with proven warehouse experience who is confident operating forklifts and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency. You'll play a key role in ensuring stock is received, replenished, and stored correctly to support our daily operations and customer commitments.
We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time opportunities and encourage experienced forklift operators to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and high-reach equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock.
- Complete daily replenishment for nightshift operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock rotation practices using scanning equipment.
- Conduct stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming stock for damage, quality, and accuracy.
- Ensure products are correctly labelled and stored.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, purchasing, and operational teams.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven warehouse experience.
- Current forklift licence (essential).
- Previous high-reach forklift experience is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours across Monday to Saturday.
What's In It For You?
- Starting from $25.00 per hour, with higher rates available for experienced candidates.
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
- Availability across Monday to Saturday is required.
- Part-time applicants should be available to work a minimum of three days per week.
- Typical hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, however start and finish times may vary to meet operational requirements.
