 Warehouse All-Rounder (Freezer Team) – Bidfood Christchurch

Location: Waterloo Business Park, Hornby / Islington, Christchurch
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday plus every second Saturday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Hourly Rate: $26.50 plus freezer allowance

About the Role

Bidfood is seeking an experienced Day Shift Warehouse All-Rounder to join its Freezer Team. The position involves replenishing stock in the freezer warehouse and assisting with freezer inwards goods operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Replenish freezer stock on warehouse shelves.
  • Assist in the Freezer Inwards Goods area.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Forklift, Reach Truck, or Aisle Master experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience in a food distribution or freezer environment is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in temperatures as low as -22°C.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg regularly.
  • Reliable, punctual, and has dependable transport.

Requirements

  • Must pass: 
    • Ministry of Justice check
    • ACC check
    • Pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
