Warehouse Store Person
Bidfood is at the forefront of the Foodservice market in New Zealand. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic driven individual with previous warehouse experience to join a dynamic and growing business. You will be in the position learn the systems and processes we have in place. We are looking for people that are driven, passionate, and innovative. Applicants must be able to provide references, agree to security checks and you will be required to pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test. You must also be eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this role.
We have two positions available:
Our dayshift role
- Checking off products (inwards)
- Putting away these goods in assigned locations and in racking
- Replenishing pick faces ready for the picking and loading team along with many other duties.
8am to 430pm Monday to Saturday with Wednesday rostered off, 5 days.
Our Night shift role
- Working among a team of 20
- Picking customer orders in multi temp areas
- Loading trucks
- General warehousing
9pm to 530am Sunday to Friday with Wednesday rostered off, 5 days.
Skills preferred:
- Fork lift experience (Reach Truck and Counter Balance)
- Proven reliability
- Previous experience in foodservice would be an advantage
- Exceptional people and communication skills including a good grasp of the English written and spoken language
- A high level of fitness
- Flexibility to work a weekend roster
- Ability to work in all departments (Chilled, Dry and Freezer)
