Warehouse Team Member – Bidfood Christchurch (Islington)

Bidfood Christchurch has a great opportunity for permanent positions within our warehouse team, based at our Islington distribution centre.
We are seeking an experienced warehouse all-rounder to join our team. We are looking for strong, reliable, and motivated individuals who are ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive workplace.
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- Roster: Monday to Friday, plus every second Saturday
- Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Loading trucks as required
- Occasionally going out on delivery trucks as a runner to assist drivers with deliveries
- Working efficiently to ensure accuracy and timely dispatch
What You’ll Bring
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good physical fitness (frequent heavy lifting up to 25kg)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Reliability and punctuality
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Full Class 1 Licence

Requirements
- Able to provide work references
- Must agree to a Ministry of Justice background check
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
