MASH Trust is a leading provider of support services for people with disabilities, mental health conditions, alcohol and addiction struggles, and in youth respite care. We support people in their own homes, within MASH Homes and in the community.

MASH Operates throughout the lower North Island in Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua, Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay, and Whanganui with over 550 staff and volunteers.

The Position

We have casual roles available to work as and when required in Lower Hutt.

Your role will include planning and supporting people to participate in a meaningful way in the community by assisting in gaining and maintaining social, health, education, whanau and cultural connection. Previous professional experience in the intellectual disability field and knowledge of Enabling Good Live's Values is an advantage but not essential.

You will need to have:

  • Experience engaging with or working with people with an intellectual disability or complex needs preferable.
  • A relevant qualification or the willingness to work towards one.
  • A current full NZ driver’s license and be able to drive 8 seater vans.
  • A passion for developing and expanding opportunities for service users.
  • A Knowledge of Community activities available locally.
  • The ability to work in a team across a range of activity areas including assisting with personal cares.
  • Good documentation skills and familiarity with a computer.
  • A good understanding of enabling good lives.



This role may close earlier if the right candidates are found.
