About the role
As a Vineyard Workshop Mechanic you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vineyard machinery and equipment. Your work ensures everything is running safely, efficiently, and ready to perform during key seasonal periods like harvest and pruning.
This is a hands-on role where your practical skills and problem-solving ability will be put to good use every day.
What you’ll be doing
- Diagnosing faults and repairing tractors and vineyard machinery
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Maintaining engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Supporting vineyard operations by ensuring machinery is ready when needed
- Assisting with setup and calibration of vineyard implements
- Modifying or fabricating equipment to improve efficiency
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and safe
- Managing tools, parts, and maintenance records
What we’re looking for someone:
- Mechanically minded and hands-on
- Ideally experienced with agricultural or vineyard machinery
- Strong problem solver who can work independently
- Reliable and adaptable, especially during busy seasonal periods
- A great team player with good communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- A trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Engineering, Diesel Mechanics or similar
