Mō te tūnga | About the role:

Based at Peacehaven Village, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and supportive community by leading daily resident engagement, organising social events, and facilitating wellness activities. You will respond to resident health call-outs, conduct wellness reviews, and maintain accurate care notes. In addition, you will support the promotion of PSS retirement living options, working closely with prospective residents and their whānau to ensure optimal village occupancy. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the village on a day-to-day basis.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, their whānau, and team members, ensuring clear and compassionate communication in all interactions. 
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, you will have a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for both current and prospective residents. 
  • Strong event and activities coordination skills, expertise in planning and leading social, wellness, and engagement activities that enhance residents' well-being and create a vibrant community.
  • Organizational and administrative abilities, strong attention to detail in maintaining resident care records, assisting with sales and occupancy, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the village. 
  •  A genuine affinity for older adults and a commitment to supporting their independence, health, and happiness within the retirement village setting.
