Mō te tūraka | About the role:

We are seeking an organised, people‑focused administrator to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of Peacehaven Retirement Village. This varied role provides high‑quality administrative and operational coordination across the resident lifecycle, including Occupation Right Agreement (ORA) processes, records management, communications, reporting and village meetings.

You’ll be a key point of contact for residents and their whānau, delivering warm, professional service and helping create a safe, welcoming and well‑run community. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting positive resident experiences.

Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day‑to‑day village administration and operations to ensure smooth, compliant and efficient delivery.
  • Facilitate end‑to‑end resident administration, including ORAs, records, transfers and terminations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, prospective residents and whānau.
  • Maintain accurate village records, prepare reports, and support audits, AGM preparation and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate village communications, meetings and activities that enhance resident experience and community connection and resident experience.

  • Strong administration and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
  • A warm, people‑centred approach and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence using digital systems and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team.
