Vehicle Transporter - Albany Toyota

We’re currently on the lookout for a reliable, experienced Vehicle Transporter to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in their work and understands the importance of transporting vehicles safely and professionally. You’ll be responsible for transporting vehicles between our sites and other locations using a three-vehicle tow truck. This role involves more than just driving, you’ll need to be confident loading, positioning and securely tying down vehicles to ensure they arrive safely and in excellent condition. This role is Monday to Friday working 42.5 - 45 hours within normal business hours.
What We’re Looking For
- Must have minimum a clean Class 2 driver's licence.
- Previous truck driving experience is a must (vehicle transportation or car-carrying experience would be an advantage).
- A strong commitment to road safety and safe vehicle handling.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to load vehicles and secure them using tie-down equipment.
- A reliable, punctual and responsible attitude.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A keen eye for detail and pride in keeping vehicles damage-free.
- A professional and friendly manner when interacting with staff, customers and other road users.
