Vehicle Sales Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Vehicle Sales Manager or a Senior Sales Consultant who is ready to take the next step in their career and join the team at Northland Toyota. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in automotive sales, and the ability to drive our sales team to achieve and exceed targets. This role requires a proactive approach to managing all aspects of the sales department, including customer satisfaction, sales performance, and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the vehicle New & Used sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise profitability.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, adjusting tactics to meet goals.
- Ensure the sales team provides exceptional customer service.
- Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with your team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the automotive market and industry trends.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure an optimal mix of vehicles.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive market and sales processes
- Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering top-notch service
- A full NZ Drivers license
