About our role

The Vehicle Sales Consultant position will see you as part of an innovative and customer-focused sales team based in our prestigious Mercedes-Benz dealership in Newmarket, Auckland. This role is suited to a reliable, self-motivated, solutions-focused individual, who has a natural ability to understand processes, technology, and customer needs. Two days are never the same in this role and you are responsible for your own personal results and achievements.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing & maintaining lasting business relationships
  • Maximising Sales & Exceeding agreed targets
  • Promoting our company philosophy & products to the highest standard
  • CRM contact and follow-up
  • Maintaining your customer database to secure future and repeat business
  • Prospecting
  • Maintaining display stock and yard presentation 
  • Utilizing processes and measurement tools

 

Skills & Experience

  • Providing excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to self-manage whilst working within a team
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Mandarin speaking is advantageous 
  • Proven relationship-building and customer retention experience
  • Experience using in-house computer systems.
  • Experience in a Franchise Automotive dealership and track record of high-performance
