About the Role

Ingham Great Lake is Taupo's home for seven of the most exciting brands on the road today: Hyundai, Isuzu, Chery, Nissan, GWM, Jaecoo and Omoda. We're looking for a motivated, people-focused Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team and help customers across the district find their next vehicle. This is a full-time role, including rostered weekend work, with genuine long-term career potential.

What You'll Bring

• Sales experience is preferred, ideally in automotive or another customer-facing role.
• A friendly, professional manner and the confidence to build relationships with customers.
• A self-starting attitude and the drive to hit targets.
• A team-player mindset. Our dealership succeeds when everyone pulls together.
• A valid NZ driver's licence and current work rights.

No sales background? If you've got the right attitude and a genuine interest in people and cars, our Dealer Principal is happy to train you properly. We'd rather find the right person than tick every box on a checklist.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell new and used vehicles across our seven brands.
• Guide customers through the buying journey, from first enquiry to delivery day and beyond.
• Build lasting relationships that lead to referrals and repeat business.
• Work towards sales targets and KPIs, with full support from your manager.
• Keep accurate CRM records and manage your own client base.
• Help keep the showroom and display vehicles looking their best.
