Ingham Nissan West Auckland is seeking a motivated and ambitious Vehicle Sales Cadet to join our team. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to build a successful career in automotive sales through structured training, mentoring, and hands-on experience.
No previous vehicle sales experience is required. We are looking for the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting customers with vehicle enquiries
- Learning and applying professional sales techniques
- Conducting customer follow-up and prospecting activities
- Building product knowledge across the Nissan range and used vehicles
- Maintaining accurate customer records in our CRM system
- Supporting vehicle deliveries and handovers
- Working alongside experienced sales professionals to develop your skills
- Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process
What We're Looking For

- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Well-presented and professional
- Self-motivated with a desire to succeed
- Good computer skills
- Minimum Restricted New Zealand Driver Licence
- Availability to work weekends as part of a roster
What's On Offer
- Base salary of $50,000 per annum
- $100 commission for every retail vehicle sold and delivered

Career Progression
This role is designed as a pathway into a full Vehicle Sales Consultant position.
Employees who demonstrate strong performance, complete required training, and consistently achieve sales objectives may be considered for progression into a Sales Consultant role with access to an enhanced remuneration package and additional benefits.
