Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Van Sales Representative with a Class 2 Driver's Licence to join our Bidfood Christchurch team. The role involves delivering products to customers, managing stock, and driving sales growth. The typical work hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver products efficiently and on time.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory.
- Engage with customers to drive sales and address their needs.
- Utilise computer systems for order processing and stock management.
Requirements:
- Class 2 Driver's Licence.
- Proven track record of reliability and accuracy.
- Strong numeracy and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer use and stock management systems.
- Experience in food distribution or a related industry preferred.
- Clean driving record (proof required at interview).
- Enthusiastic, honest, adaptable, and physically fit.
- Team player with a commitment to career development in distribution.
Additional Checks:
- Agree to a Ministry of Justice check.
- Pass an ACC pre-employment check.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
