We are seeking a motivated and experienced Van Sales Manager to lead our team of Van Sales Representatives (VSRs) across the region. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving sales performance, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Days and hours of work: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day supervision and support of Van Sales Representatives
- Close liaison with the Regional Convenience Manager to align on business objectives
- Team management, including training, development, and performance monitoring
- Staff annual leave coordination and coverage
- Overseeing and assisting with picking and loading of products
- Driving and executing sales strategies to meet targets
- Ensuring top-tier customer service and account management
- Handling stock credits and returns accurately
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety regulations and company policies
- Promoting a culture of Health and Safety in all operational activities.
About You:
- Proven experience in sales and team leadership
- Ability to lead by example with a hands-on approach
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Valid driver’s licence Class 2
- Physically fit and able to support van loading/unloading as needed
- Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
- Well-organised, proactive, and results-driven
Additional Checks:
- Agree to a Ministry of Justice check.
- Pass an ACC pre-employment check.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
