Van Driver (BestStart Macdonald Street)
About the Role:
At BestStart MacDonald Street, we believe in creating deep connections with our local Mount Maunganui community.. Through meaningful excursions such as walking adventures, airport visits, and van trips to local landmarks like Mauao we empower our children to explore, learn, and grow.
We’re currently looking for a friendly, reliable, and safety-conscious Van Driver to join our passionate team. In this key role, you’ll safely transport children to and from our centre in the morning and afternoon. You’ll also help with transporting meals from a nearby centre and assist with light kitchen duties such as washing dishes.
This is a permanent part-time position working 25-30 hours per week.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- An experienced and safe driver with a full NZ driver’s licence
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting children in and out of car seats
- Reliable, trustworthy, and caring, with a strong sense of responsibility
- A great communicator who enjoys working with children and families
- A team player who values diversity, inclusion, and community engagement
