FMG has an exciting opportunity to join our team to assist with the actuarial financial and regulatory reporting. There is flexibility as to the level of this role  from students who have completed the Actuarial Control Cycle (or equivalent) through to Actuaries with 5 years post qualification experience, so regardless of where you are in your actuarial career if you are passionate about turning compliance reporting into essential business insights we would love to hear from you. 

This role will also play a key role preparing the liability valuation and related financial reporting, including involvement with the climate change financial reporting. This includes utilising the related analysis to identify and act on insights to ensure business resilience that allows FMG to continue to help build strong and prosperous rural communities. 

 We are looking for someone with –

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and actuarial exams to the level of the Actuarial Control Cycle (or equivalent)
  • Previous insurance industry experience
  • Experience with data manipulation, modelling and forecasting
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude; with a never-ending commitment to ensuring FMG’s ongoing success
  • A drive to solve problems, achieve targets, embrace change and stay cool, calm and collected when the pressure may be on
