About the Role 

PSC’s Family Works and Enliven are on the lookout for a dynamic and creative Trust and Grants Fundraiser to join the External Relations team.

This role is focussed on developing our trusts and grants fundraising programme, including researching and writing applications and developing positive and long-lasting relationships with funders. 

You'll be a fantastic communicator and persuasive and creative yet concise writer. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Grant funding research and planning, primarily using our Strategic Grants GEM Portal
  • Writing compelling grant applications and proposals
  • Timely accountability reporting
  • Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Meeting grant funding targets 
  • Supporting the wider fundraising and communications team.

About you

This role could suit an experienced trusts and grants fundraiser or someone who has been in a communications, journalism or fundraising role and is willing to learn. You will also: 

  • have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • be motivated, capable of managing competing priorities and thrive on meeting tight deadlines
  • have the skills to pull relevant information together and form compelling funding proposals
  • get on with people, build relationships, question and learn in order to get the information needed for funders
  • have an ability to anticipate needs and show initiative in managing and promoting funding proposals 
  • have an understanding of budgets and accounting as related to funding proposals and accountability 
  • have experience working with staff to guide their data management and report writing in relation to accountability reporting. 
  • have a strong attention to detail
  • be organised
  • be a team player, always willing to go the extra mile
  • an understanding of the social service and/or aged care industries would be advantageous.
