About the Role
We're searching for a confident Transport & Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team based in Milton. This role suits someone with excellent communication skills, with the confidence and experience to take the reins of our logistics operations.
Reporting to the Plant and Logistics Manager, you will maintain daily communication with our Construction and Manufacturing Teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered safely to site, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
Skills and Attributes
This role is not for the faint hearted, you’ll need to have a can-do attitude, a good logical decision-making ability and be motivated to get things done. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships. You will be the mastermind behind a seamless operation in a fast-changing environment.
About you
· Proven experience as a Transport & Logistics Coordinator or similar or be highly motivated to learn a whole new industry
· Knowledge of all NZTA regulations and loading codes
· Ability to think creatively to solve problems and address potential service issues
· Forward thinking, with the ability to identify efficiencies and improvements
· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
· Willingness to learn our internal logistics system
· Strong problem-solving skills with excellent analytical and decision-making
· Forklift licence and/or Class 5 licence would be desirable
· Understanding of the construction industry is highly desirable
