The Opportunity
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we are seeking a Transport Engineering Draughtsperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and 3D models for new truck body and deck builds, as well as repair and modification work.
This position will suit an organised, detail-focused professional with experience in transport engineering draughting who enjoys working collaboratively within a busy and technically driven environment.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience in transport engineering draughting, with sound welding knowledge
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience using job estimating systems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with customers
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team focus
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
