Bidfood Auckland South is looking for an experienced Transport & Logistics Manager to lead our high‑performing dispatch and delivery teams. This role is central to keeping our operation running smoothly — and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service, every time.
What you’ll lead
- Day‑to‑day transport and dispatch operations in a dynamic, high‑volume foodservice environment
- A committed team of drivers and dispatchers
- Continuous improvement initiatives that lift service standards and operational efficiency
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication skills — clear, confident, and collaborative
- Solutions‑focused thinking — able to assess issues quickly and make sound decisions
- Effective leadership — someone who brings people together, builds capability, and sets and upholds high standards
- Experience in transport, logistics, or distribution (foodservice or FMCG experience is a bonus)
- A practical understanding of fleet compliance, health & safety, and customer service excellence
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar operational tools
