Join the Team at Mainland Truss and Frame – Fabricators Wanted
Kennington | Full-time, Permanent
Mainland Truss and Frame is proudly New Zealand owned and operated. With over 35 years in the building industry, we specialise in manufacturing high-quality, pre-cut and pre-nailed timber wall frames and roof trusses to exact specifications. Our reputation has been built on solid service, precision, and a team-first attitude.
At Mainland Truss and Frame, we offer stable, year‑round employment with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, typically worked Monday to Friday. Overtime opportunities are available during peak periods, and we value flexibility, reliability, and a strong team mindset.
You will be joining a supportive, down‑to‑earth team that works hard, looks out for one another, and takes pride in delivering a high‑quality product. We provide full on‑the‑job training and mentoring, making this a great opportunity whether you’re experienced or keen to grow your skills.
As our operations continue to expand — including our move to a new, purpose‑built facility in Kennington — there will be ongoing opportunities for development and progression within the business.
We are looking for someone who brings the right attitude — dependable, practical, and committed to doing the job well. You will need to be physically fit, mechanically minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Solid communication skills, a strong focus on safety, and a willingness to learn and pitch in are key. If you have experience in timber fabrication, great — but if not, don’t be shy about applying. We are happy to offer comprehensive training and long-term support.
