Territory Sales Manager (Part Time, 3 days per week) in either Dunedin or Central Lakes - Grow Sales, Build Relationships & Make an Impact!

As our Territory Sales Manager, you’ll be the face of HOOP in-store, driving sales growth and distribution across New World & PAK’nSAVE stores. You’ll work closely with our National Sales Manager and wider sales team to bring brand stories to life and deliver outstanding results for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver and exceed sales, distribution, and merchandising targets across your territory.
  • Build strong trading relationships with store owners, managers, and buyers.
  • Execute promotional plans, relay programs, and new product launches.
  • Use category insights and data (including dunnhumby) to influence ranging and space decisions.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Track store performance, monitor competitors, and share insights with the HOOP team and clients.
  • Represent HOOP and our brands professionally, ensuring excellence in every store visit.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years FMCG experience in a customer facing field role.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the NZ grocery landscape, especially Foodstuffs.
  • Experience using CRM tools and interpreting scan data.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you thrive on connecting with people.
  • A driven, organised, and self-motivated approach, you make things happen.
  • A growth mindset, with energy, EQ, and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
