Technical Systems Analyst (Permanent, Full-Time)

We’re looking for two Technical Systems Analysts to join our TSB Technology Services team. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise will help ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with best practices. You’ll play a key part in maintaining and optimising our technology platforms, supporting integrations, and driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analysing, documenting, and mapping system architectures, data flows, and integrations.
  • Monitoring system behaviours and investigating technical issues to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and QA specialists to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Supporting root cause analysis for system failures and performance issues.
  • Managing user accounts, access rights, and system patching in line with security policies.
  • Implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Keeping systems documentation current and aligned with operational changes.
  • Sharing knowledge across teams and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Technical Business Analysis, Systems Analyst, L2-L3 Application Support Analyst, or similar IT support role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of technology operations and software systems.
  • Foundational certifications (e.g., ITIL, CSBA) and experience in financial services (a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to learning and improvement.
