Technical Support Analyst
About the role
A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Analyst within Craigs Investment Partners (CIP), based out of our central Auckland office. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, the key focus of this role is to provide 2nd level support within the Infrastructure and Service Delivery Team, manage third party Vendors to deliver best practice service to its customers, and achieve the requirements of the IT service level agreements with the Business across CIP’s IT services.
In addition to supporting users in CIP’s desktop technology and Applications, this role also provides direct desktop support to PC and Laptop users, and undertaking End user training, helping to answer the ‘How do I?’ queries from business users. This is a varied role which will also see the appropriate candidate assist in asset management, contract management, procurement and general administrative duties including the up-keep of support documentation in support of the services provided by the team.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates with relevant IT qualifications or equivalent work experience and the following:
- At least 3 years’ Service Desk or ITS Support experience
- Financial services experience (desirable)
- Management, configuration and monitoring of end user devices utilising tools such as Intune, SCCM and Citrix
- Configuration and monitoring of cloud services such as Office 365, Azure AD, Intune Company Portal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Escalations from 1st level Service Desk support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving skills
