As a Technical Specialist at Heritage Lifecare, you will join a small and customer-focused IT team who provide technical services and solutions across 42care homes and 20 villages throughout New Zealand. This role will provide you with variety and opportunities to grow your IT knowledge and career, working among some of the best in Wellington!

You will be in an immersive environment and doing a lot more than just logging support calls into a system. Your role will see you helping others within the business to identify and troubleshoot issues that can arise with computer hardware, smartphones, tablets, printers, networking, cloud platforms, operating systems and business application software.  You will also be involved with maintaining Intune builds and technical diagnosis, plus remote configuration of Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and VOIP-based telephony solutions.

This role is based at the Heritage Lifecare Support Office in the heart of Johnsonville with easy access to public transport, ample free on-street parking, and many lunch options to choose from.  There will be times when you will be required to travel to care homes around the country to provide onsite technical support.

Skills & Experience 

  • Demonstrated L2/L3 technical experience.
  • Strong customer service focus and excellent phone manner
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management skills, and experience successfully meeting SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Ability to work as part of a team with the willingness to support others when needed.
  • Valid Full NZ Driver's license.

  • Annual Salary range between $65,000 - $85,000 dependent on experience.
