Our client has been supporting the rural and building markets throughout Australasia for more than 45 years. The business is privately owned and has a long history of providing exceptional service to its clients. Supplying building underlays, roofing netting and wire fencing products, they pride themselves on high quality products, exceptional customer service and a level of flexibility that other suppliers can only dream of. Their team is under new leadership and has a renewed focus on company growth and success and taking the business to the next level.  

They are looking for someone with technical skills in the building industry to join the team to complete its product specification guides. This would suit someone with architectural, building, engineering and/or specification skills in the construction industry.

The Role

This role is project based and we anticipate that it will take the successful candidate 2-3 months to complete.  

In this role you will:

  • Interpret building guides and standards in order to;
  • Create specification and standard guides for our products 
  • Create product testing standards and requirements for our Manufacturing team

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Technical experience in the building industry i.e. Architect, Engineer or Qualified Builder
  • Estimation experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft word
