Horizons Regional Council is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Catchment Operations Group on a permanent, full-time basis, based in Palmerston North. You will be leading a team providing asset support for our teams working across the region, ensuring a consistent approach to the management of our infrastructural assets that provide vital flood protection to our community. You will be responsible for the development of our Asset Management Plans as well as the integration of Council’s Asset Management Information System across the Catchment Operations Group.
We’re looking for the right person to join our team. You’ll bring strong leadership skills, a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and practical experience in a similar environment. An Infrastructure Asset Management Diploma would be an advantage however, is not essential. You’ll also have a good working knowledge of health and safety, along with excellent communication skills. As our work covers a large geographic area, a current full driver’s licence is essential.
